CamThink Debuts Event-triggered Camera and Edge Computing Applications at Embedded World 2025
Nuremberg, Germany, March 13th, 2025 – CamThink, a brand of Milesight, and a global provider of vision AI cameras, edge AI computing devices, and open architecture hardware, showcased its latest vision AI applications encompassing an event-triggered camera, edge computing box and a series of development kits at the Embedded World 2025. Among the highlights were hands-on demos such as using the event-triggered camera to capture on-site images based on the PIR trigger on a preset time, moreover, setting the high-performance edge AI box to conduct real-time analysis of multi-stream videos, etc. These solutions enrich the ecosystem of edge AI and streamline real-time AI adoption at the edge.
Shaping the Edge AI Landscape with an Open-architecture Hardware
As the world-class stage that connects the embedded community, the Embedded World cultivates enterprises, engineers, and developers to focus on future-oriented products that make unparalleled impacts. Edge AI is reshaping the ecosystem and bringing enhanced efficiency, lower latency and reduced cost-ratio to the industry by enabling the computation on the device and boosting AI productivity. It has experienced robust growth around the world and is expected to expand more quickly in the forthcoming years. As an enabler in the edge AI ecosystem, CamThink’s hardware products become the primary choice for developers to start their projects with open-architecture hardware, flexible configuration, rich interfaces, industrial-grade design and easy AI model integration. Significantly shorten the project validation cycle and accelerate the time-to-market with less effort.
CamThink Product Highlights
CamThink’s presented NeoEyes NE101 for the first time, it is an event-triggered camera adopting an ESP32-S3 micro-controller and built-in with a replaceable lens, widely used in scenarios such as equipment monitoring, smart agriculture, elderly monitoring and smart metering while maintaining low power consumption with less than 1w on the standby mode. In addition to the connectivity, it is embedded with a Wi-Fi module and offers flexible options for Wi-Fi Halow and 4G Cat 1 wireless communication, suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage. Furthermore, CamThink showcased the powerful NeoEdge NG4500 edge AI box empowered by NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX/Nano core modules, it’s compatibility with mainstream AI models makes it an ideal computation driver for smart Manufacturing, robotics, healthcare, smart cities, etc.
