Warranty & Return Policy

Limited Product Warranty

CamThink warrants its products against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, as defined in our official product documentation. This Limited Warranty is valid only for purchases made via CamThink’s official website and applies exclusively to the original purchaser.

1.1 Warranty Coverage

The warranty period starts from the date of delivery. Coverage includes:

Covered under warranty:

  • Manufacturing defects under normal use
  • Only when used according to official CamThink guidelines

1.2 Warranty Options

If a valid claim is made within the warranty period, CamThink will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective item, or
  • Replace with a new or refurbished equivalent, or
  • Issue a partial or full refund (based on issue severity)

Note: Repaired or replaced items are covered by the remaining warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.

1.3 Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does NOT cover:

  • Claims submitted after the warranty period
  • Damage due to:
    • Misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modification
    • Flashing custom firmware, soldering, or physical alterations
    • Incorrect voltage, short-circuit, or unauthorized power supplies
    • Customer-requested customizations
    • Improper storage or handling
    • Acts of God (e.g. earthquake, fire, flood, war)
  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, or discoloration
  • Software, including embedded and third-party
  • Lost, stolen, or unverified stolen goods
  • Third-party products (even if bundled with CamThink)
  • Consumables (e.g., batteries), unless proven DOA

NOTE: CamThink does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance of any product.

1.4 How to File a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, please contact store@camthink.ai with:

  • Order number or proof of purchase
  • Description of the issue
  • Supporting evidence (photos or videos)

DO NOT ship any item without receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Unauthorized returns will be refused.

1.5 Shipping Responsibility

  • If the issue is confirmed to be under warranty, CamThink covers outbound shipping of replacement.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping for inspection.
  • CamThink is not responsible for lost or damaged items in return transit. We recommend using insured shipping.

Return & Refund Policy

We understand that unexpected changes may occur. This policy outlines your rights and conditions for returns and refunds while protecting seller interests.

2.1 Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery only if:

  • The product is unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • All components and accessories are included
  • Product is not listed as non-returnable
  • You have obtained an approved RMA

NOTE: Opened, used, or returned without authorization may incur fees or be rejected.

2.2 Return Shipping & Fees

  • Return shipping is customer’s responsibility, unless the item was incorrect or DOA
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Return must be received within 30 days of RMA issuance

2.3 Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled before confirmed status by contacting store@camthink.ai.

NOTE: Most payment providers charge a non-refundable fee (~5%), which will be deducted from your refund.

2.4 DOA (Defective on Arrival)

If your item is defective upon arrival:

  • Contact us within 14 days
  • Provide visual proof (photos or videos)
  • Once confirmed, CamThink will:
    • Ship a replacement free of charge, or
    • Issue a full refund
    • CamThink covers all DOA return shipping costs

2.5 Non-Returnable Items

The following are non-returnable:

  • Customized products
  • Clearance or final-sale items
  • Used or altered items
  • Products not returned in accordance with CamThink guidelines

2.6 Refund Process & Deductions

  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days upon approval
  • Deductions may apply:
    • 15% restocking fee for opened/used products
    • Retail value of missing or damaged accessories

2.7 Additional Terms

  • All product prices exclude shipping fees, import duties, VAT, and other applicable taxes. These charges are non-refundable under any circumstances, even if the product is returned.
  • Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs and associated duties, unless the return is due to CamThink’s confirmed error (e.g., wrong item shipped or DOA).
  • Returns that are late, unauthorized, or do not meet our return requirements will be rejected and not eligible for refund or exchange.

NOTE: Please check your local import regulations and duties before placing an order. CamThink does not offer tax-inclusive pricing and cannot refund any duties, VAT, or taxes charged by your customs office.

2.8 Limitation of Liability

CamThink’s total liability is limited to the original purchase price. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages
  • Loss of data, use, profits, or business opportunities

2.9 Legal Disclaimer

Products are sold “as-is” with no implied warranties unless stated.

CamThink hardware is designed for development and prototyping only.

Not intended for mission-critical or medical use.

Policy Updates

CamThink reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The latest version posted shall apply to all current and future claims.
