    Overview

    The NeoEyes NE100-MB01 is a board-level development platform for the NE101 modular sensing camera. It gives engineers direct access to camera, trigger, storage, power, and expansion interfaces for firmware work, sensor integration, and custom hardware evaluation.

    Choose the board when you need to test the NE101 architecture or build a custom camera configuration before deployment. It is not a complete enclosed camera. A camera module, power source, storage card, enclosure, and any external sensors must be prepared separately. For a ready-to-install product, choose the NeoEyes NE101 Modular Sensing Camera. For a complete hands-on assembly package, choose the NeoEyes NE101 Dev Kit.

    Key Features

    ESP32-S3 development platform

    The board uses the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8 module with a dual-core 240 MHz processor, 16 MB Flash, and 8 MB PSRAM. It provides the processing and memory needed for camera control, low-power firmware, and sensor-triggered capture.

    Camera integration

    Connect an OV5640 camera through the board camera interface, or use a compatible UVC USB camera. OV5640 options include 60 or 120 degree FOV with near or far focus configurations.

    Sensor and expansion I/O

    The board provides Alarm and PIR inputs plus a 16-pin expansion header for UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, power output, and Alarm input connections.

    Power, storage, and debugging

    Use the Type-C port for 5 V/1 A power and UART debugging. The board also provides a Micro-TF card slot, separate UART access, reset and boot buttons, and camera and LED connectors.
