Product Overview

NeoEyes NE101 is a low-power sensing camera for scheduled or event-triggered image capture. It wakes on schedule, button press, Alarm-In, PIR, or other external triggers, captures an image, and uploads it through the selected network.

All NE101 versions share the same core ESP32-S3 camera platform. Choose Wi-Fi, LTE Cat.1, or Wi-Fi HaLow by deployment network and region, and select the lens by capture distance and field of view.

For development, NE101 supports open-source firmware, MQTT/MQTTS reporting, GPIO expansion, Alarm-In, PIR, Micro-TF storage, and Type-C/UART debugging. The NeoEyes NE101 ESP32-S3 Development Board is available separately for hardware evaluation.

All NE101 SKUs share the same core camera platform. The main difference is connectivity and regional network support.

Key Features

Low-Power Event Capture
NE101 supports scheduled capture, interval capture, button capture, Alarm-In capture, and PIR/sensor-triggered wake-up. It is intended for low-frequency image acquisition where battery life and remote access are more important than continuous streaming.

Flexible Connectivity
Choose standard Wi-Fi for sites with local Wi-Fi, LTE Cat.1 for cellular deployments, or Wi-Fi HaLow for long-range private IoT networks. For HaLow projects, confirm the region and gateway frequency before ordering.

Modular Imaging
The standard camera uses an OV5640 module with selectable FOV and focus options. Lens choice should be based on target distance, scene width, and installation height.

Developer-Friendly Architecture
NE101 provides open-source firmware, MQTT/MQTTS data reporting, Type-C/UART debugging, Micro-TF storage, Alarm-In, PIR connector, and 16-pin GPIO expansion for secondary development.

Outdoor Deployment Support
With IP67 protection, battery operation, and bracket accessory options, NE101 can be deployed in outdoor or semi-outdoor sensing applications. Use Mounting Brackets for NeoEyes Series when wall, pole, desktop, or meter-oriented installation is required.

NE101 supports 4 x AA battery operation for low-frequency capture, and Type-C power access for setup, debugging, or wired power use.

For off-grid outdoor deployments, NE101 can be paired with the 10W Solar Panel & 7Ah Outdoor Battery Kit with 5V Type-C Output. This kit is intended for NE101 / NE301 USB-C versions.
